About me
I am a licensed clinical social worker, and I work with adults and children who are living in North Carolina. I have over 6 years of experience providing therapy to adults and children, and my background is in supporting survivors of sexual assault, providing social work in hospital settings, and in-home child play therapy, specifically around issues of grief and loss, attachment, and early developmental trauma.
I graduated from the Smith School of Social Work, where my studies and practices focused on contemporary psychoanalytic theory and practice. I am also trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy and facilitation of Circle of Security Parenting, both of which inform my way of working with attachment and understanding how early experiences affect the present.
My approach
All parts of you are welcome in therapy. Our therapeutic relationship is the foundation of the work, and I strive to meet each patient with mindful presence, gentle curiosity, and consistent, deep listening. You can expect a warm and spacious environment in which past experiences and what may have previously felt hard to access can have room to breathe. My work with clients is rooted in relational psychodynamic psychotherapy, which can provide deep, lasting relief and address fundamental aspects of clients’ personalities, patterns of relating, and habits. This kind of work can have the most significant impact when we meet weekly or more often.

Please reach out to schedule a free 15-20 minute phone call. I will ask about what is motivating you to seek therapy. I will explain more about how I work, my fee and payment, and what to expect during our time together.
I am an out of network provider, and I charge $185 for each 53-minute session. A limited number of sliding scale spots are available upon request.
